Hi Ricardo, many thanks! I am actively working on new tracks – I’m uploading new stuff to my soundcloud site. Still a way off a new album, but hopefully will get there π Cheers, Alastair
Man, your music tickles a certain spot in my brain I didnβt know existed. I love that itβs infused with life and beauty, and that nostalgic longing for connection. Thank you very very much for these beautiful melodies my friend π
Hi Paul, thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, it’s amazing whenever my music connects. I do read these and they definitely motivate me to keep going with new music. Thanks again π
Not sure when I signed a guestbook the last time … but doing this now seems equally evocating as your music. Grove Park is one of my wake-up as well as falling-asleep songs for years now, and I’ve even done the incredibly lame thing of listening to Shinkansen to Kyoto on, well, a Shinkansen to Kyoto (it really worked by the way). Thanks a million for some beautiful pieces of music!
Thanks hugely for the comment – strangely statisfying to hear that someone has listened to STK in the context for which it was intended :)). Taking the time to write here is greatly appreciated – and it does reach my email, so I don’t miss any comments even if I might not respond straight away – cheers!
I’ve been enjoying your ambient downtempo artistry and evocative analog tones since I first discovered Groove Salad many years ago. Your music has been inspirational to me in my own creative meanderings. When I close my eyes and listen to Mackerel Sky or Cleaning The Glass, I’m transported to beautiful vistas and I forget our frenzied world for a while.
Sorry for the slow approval, but I wanted to say thank you for the amazing comment! It’s always great to hear that my music has connected with someone.
Hey Man, I just wanted to let you know that love your music – it is perfect for office focus work I’m doing. Streaming in HQ via Qobuz playlist consinst of all your music available. Greetings from Berlin!
intelligent and emotionally rich. there’s a distinct message in each piece. a true artist for our generation, expressing desires of freedom, curiosity and simple wisdom of the divine.
I liked your music when I listened to it the first time on somafm groovesalad. Whenever they play one of your songs I immediately recognise that it’s Northcape. A very special mood I feel then.
I bought 2 of your albums as a flac download. That’s the format your music deserves.
Just to say thanks for taking the time to leave a comment here. As a little-known independent artist, I’m very grateful to groovesalad for doing so much to help get my music heard. Really glad you like what you’ve heard so far, cheers for the support. I will keep on working at it!

I saw you deleted my guestbook entry. I hope there was no misunderstanding. I wanted to write something nice because I like your music.
