"Letter to Nowhere" was Northcape's first released album. The inspiration for the album was time spent in Australia and New Zealand in 1999, and the music is an attempt to capture some of the landscapes, clarity and isolation. Musically the tracks are a relatively early stage in the development of Northcape's sound and the album is therefore no longer available, nevertheless, the best tracks from "Letter to Nowhere" still stand by themselves and successfully capture the atmosphere that they were meant to convey.
